After 4 days I had to quit taking it due to becoming a total bitch to be around. I'm due to have Implanon replaced September 2014, but probably won't. I've always heard the copper IUD is the most natural of bc, but the insertion of IUD's is painful. I think BC is something that is sometimes taboo to discuss, but I think it is important to discuss. BC is a very personal thing...people's bodies react differently to each type of BC. As someone who works in the healthcare field, I've seen these, touched it, learned how to insert it, but it's fairly new, and even I don't know much about it, so it's good to hear a personal experience. I hope that the procedure / plan you discussed with your doctor will help. Please do let us know! I have been on I don't how many different doses of the pill until finding something my body complied with. It's hard. But I didn't want to try the Mirena or anything long term because we want to start trying to see what happens in the near future as well. Maybe in a strange way this is your bodies way of telling you to let nature take it's course. (Starting sooner for a baby vs. later). It's absolutely awesome as young as you both are that you are almost completely debt free (frilly debt - not everyday life debt, clearly if you own a home, that's a different kind of debt - does that make sense?) My husband and I have been together almost 8 years now, married almost 2. We have been asked a million times about children and never felt financially ready. Everyone says, You'll never been financially ready, but I like to think I could be financially, more prepared.

As of last week, I officially paid off all my credit card debt (happy dance), and my husband still has some student loans to deal with and his CC - bottom line we are almost there - we're not getting any younger but we can be prepared.

We all are in the same boat in this ride of life - ups and downs, and payment plans a like. I say give this a shot, hopefully it works for you, but if it doesn't I'm happy to hear you'll be OK with that road as well. oxoxKelly @ turned UP to ELEVEN!https://www.blogger.com/profile/17316990503032552760noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8612684340443540581.post-70916957631136171112013-07-19T09:09:40.917-07:002013-07-19T09:09:40.917-07:00Goodness. I'm sure it's helpful for other young women who are on a similar journey! In the four years (and 2 months!) that I've been married, it took me a couple of years to actually find a BC that works for me! My dr. had told me that an IUD was extremely painful for a woman who had never birthed a child so I tried the NuvaRing and I'm in love!!! Naturally, I'm not a hormonal woman. The pill definitely made me hormonally crazy but the NR is not that way at all. If you end up taking out your implant, you may want to ask your doctor about NR. Of course, it's different for every woman but I would personally never go back to another type of BC, especially a pill. I hope it gets better for you!
