Yesterday I spent some time finalizing nursery details and getting some miscellaneous things accomplished that are baby related. I ended up moving her bassinet into our master bedroom and in place by the bed and then Andrew and I installed the monitor and finished painting her book shelves. I am patiently (....not so patiently) waiting for her Maxi Cosi car seat to arrive as her Quinny stroller did a couple weeks ago and I just want to get it installed in the car.
We have just over 2 weeks until we're full term and I'm wanting to be 100% ready to go at that time. I have yet to get the hospital bag packed but that's on my weekend list and I have my breastfeeding class Saturday. Am I totally crazy for doing all this so early or is it smart? Knowing how badly I want her arriving earlier just makes me think she will come after her due date.... hmpf.
I totally agree with being ready to go when you are full term that's what I'm planning too! But I thought full term is 37 weeks?
ReplyDeleteYou look super beautiful. I LOVE that top!
ReplyDeleteI had everything done at 35 weeks then we did a deep clean of the house at 37 weeks. If only I would have known I still had a whole month left of being prego!! The breastfeeding class is the best preparation I did! Make sure Andrew goes with you!
ReplyDeleteYou are nesting! I agree with Ruthie to have your husband accompany you to your breastfeeding class, as it will only benefit sweet E in the long run. Also? You are positively GLOWING! I was 39 weeks with my first, and delivered my second the day before her due date. There is a peace of mind that comes with feeling ready!
ReplyDeleteyou look fab girl! crue came two weeks late and i pray your little miss won't do that to ya! it is so emotional, ha ha. and if you ever sell your maternity items -- HI!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAlmost full term and still rocking heels - get it mama! I don't blame you a bit for being ahead of the game. You want to be able to feel comfortable and have all your ducks in a row before Baby arrives so you can enjoy every moment when she's in your arms :)
ReplyDeletei think its best to be ready and early with everything~ no harm in it... :) I'm so excited for you Aubrey! <3
ReplyDeleteBe prepared! I thought that I'd jinx myself if I got ready too early & then my daughter showed up 5 weeks early. My husband had to pack my hospital bag (disaster) & I didn't have the cute outfits that I'd planned for her to go home in (not that they'd have fit her anyway). Do everything you can now & when it's all done, try to take a nap because you'll need it sister!
