Knit + Booties
It already see a theme happening with my clothes for this cooler season. Neutrals, neutrals and more neutrals. I am a girl who can't get enough black or cream. Oh cream, my favorite. I wore this last Saturday going wedding dress shopping for my to-be sister (look careful & you'll see our group photo bombing!) and it was the perfect comfortable look while still looking put together. The jeans from Old Navy are a favorite fit of mine and I have a few colors and this knit I snagged for $15 at F21 on a whim. I love the cutout details as it throws in just a touch of edginess. And again with the booties... never did I think that would be me but they're my go-to lately.
What's a trend you see yourself gravitating towards lately?

Office Goodies + A Giveaway
Now that I've been working from home more often and I'm really settled into my home office space, I've added a few extra touches to make it me and I wanted to share them all. You can see my first office post here which listed many of the details but I'll touch on some others below as well!
Isn't it so pretty and so me. Funny cause Andrew says it completely reflects who I am and my aesthetics so I'm beyond grateful he let me have a room to myself to deck out in all things girly so I feel inspired while working on my business. Such a great honey, huh? I think after the past 8 months living in this space, I've realized it's about constantly moving things around, adding small touches and making it as comfortable as possible. When working in a space you love, it helps inspire and get you motivated to continue on the positive journey you are walking. This office has just exceeding my dreams of looks and I'm in love with it.

Plaid + Tulle
The tulle skirt.... the one my mama made me. Isn't it everything? I just stare at it sometimes when I walk in my closet thinking it's too much and too fancy and too girly and too.....tulle-esque. But every time I end up wearing it, the compliments are endless and I feel like an Arizona Carrie Bradshaw. If there were such thing. The mix of plaid and leopard with my favorite cream just makes me melt going through these pictures. I have to confess, this might be my most favorite outfit yet. Also, I'm never cutting my hair again; extensions are the best thing that's happened to me. Oh and, I splurged and purchased some Bellami ones which are on my head. Perfection, right?

Dealing With Acne
I have struggled and struggled with acne all my life to the point of it being so bad in middle school, I was on acutane. I did clear up well after those 6 months of medication but it's recently been flaring up up again and it's become an embarrassment of mine. I'm no stranger to the dermatologist but after going mid summer and nothing actually working, I thought it was time to spend the money and try a full line of acne based skin care.
I landed on Philosophy | Clear Days Ahead and started with the travel size kit. I didn't want to invest $150 on product I wasn't sure would work. It's been about a week now and it's night and day difference. For full disclosure, I started this the day I started my period so my face was broken out beyond belief. It cleared it up in 12 hours. Twelve. Like there isn't a blemish in sight. I fully understand and know when starting a new product your face isn't used to, it can react and clear much quicker but in the long run not really be effective. That being said, we will see how the next 3 weeks go on this line but currently, I'm smitten.
Funny enough, I will be spending less on this line in the full sizes than I would've been with dermatologist fees, prescription finances and additional facials and microderm packages at my derm. So all in all, it's probably smart I'm making this move for my adult skin and my wallet will be thanking me!

Leopard + Chambray
It seems as I've been nonstop going lately, I always grab for my leopard flats. These gorgeous gems are from Lulu's and they trump all other pairs I have because they're the d'Orsay and are so comfortable! They are completely sold out so I can't really help you on snagging the same pair but here are a few options to add to your fall wardrobe!

Office Updates | Urban Walls
Okay, I'm seriously dying over these gorgeous gold dot decals from Urban Walls. I've been eyeing them for probably 6 months thinking how cute they would look in my home office but I never could bite the bullet. I felt it might be too cluttered or girly and I'd get sick of them fast....guess what? That's totally not the case. I will be honest and tell you when I applied them, I sat in my office pinning for a good 5 hours because I just didn't want to leave. Like ever.... I even came in to work late at the church today so I could do emails from my home office enjoying these super chic decals. They're simply everything.
I waited a few days when I got them to actually install because I wanted to make sure the placement was perfect and I wasn't just being impulsive and throwing them up right away and to my surprise, the installation was so simple and quick! I intended taking the latter half of my day working on this wall and it took me 15 minutes to get them all up. Urban Walls sends you an instruction sheet also which helped the process go much smoother. Hello perfect customer service! The pack comes with 50 dots and that was the perfect amount for the one wall I did too. I'd say splurge on quantity if you're wanting more than one wall covered.
I have to say I now have my eyes on this decal for Drake's bedroom and this for our kitchen so who knows, maybe you'll see them around our house in the future! Don't you just love how it turned out? My office was already my favorite room in the house but this really seals the deal.

This past Wednesday I was able to run out for a night with some amazing blog girls and it happened to be the day I got my new lips sweat shirt in so I obviously had to wear it! I had so many questions on where I got it so you can order yours here. It also inspired me for a little sassy download today for you phone! This isn't my normal style but I thought it was fun so why not?

Sequins + Booties
Today is another installment with Becky from Cella Jane with our monthly collaboration! We decided to go with booties this time around. Take a look over at Becky's blog, here, to see how she styled hers.
This skirt was one I had been debating buying for a good 6 months because I just didn't know if I wanted a darker tone or my usual creams and golds. On a whim, my girlfriend told me this was the one and I bought it and I don't think I've ever been more in love with a purchase. Same goes for these booties. I have tree stump legs so I always steered away from any kind of bootie and after this purchase, I wore them 5 days straight and 3 more times since then. Obviously, it's safe to say, they were worth it!

Drake
8 Years
Drake,
How in the world are you 8 years old, Little Man? I can't even wrap my head around you growing so quickly! I pray I can remember every detail of you years down the road because it feels these moments pass by far too quickly. You are the most endearing, playful, intelligent, intriguing 8 year old around and I'm so blessed to call you my stepson. Thank you for all you've done to my heart and for all you will continue doing. This year is going to be a good one, babe. I promise.
Love you to the moon and back.
xo,
Aubrey

I've spent months and month going over product that has worked for my sensitive, acne prone skin always coming up short. After refusing to jump on the BB Cream bandwagon, I finally did and it's already made a huge difference in my complexion and overall makeup routine. After finding this sheer goodness, I tackled the task of mastering highlighting + contouring that again, worked for my unruly skin. After playing with a few darker bronzers to contour with, I found the new Maybelline Fit Foundation and it did exactly what I was wanting it to! Hopefully these goodies can help you as well, as all of us ladies deserve to experience all types of beauty methods and products!
