Yesterday miss Emery and I had the chance to get some lunch with our sweet blog friend, Alyssa and it was just what the doctor ordered. It was a rough week getting over sickness and dealing with a lot on my work schedule so it was nice to take some time with her to chat and just enjoy each other's company. We're in the process of revamping her blog too so make sure you keep checking back to see the reveal in the coming weeks!

This weekend, we are just as busy as well with my mother in law's birthday on Sunday which also happens to be Super Bowl so we're going to attempt to spoil her rotten. I'm making a cake and getting her favorite flowers to surprise her. And if you didn't know, the Super Bowl is taking place about 10 minutes from our home sooooo I'm planning to stay home getting my list accomplished as best I can without having to face the chaos our whole city has become. I drove by the stadium on my way to lunch on Tuesday and it was a nightmare! I do think it's super exciting it's here but it's also a little nerve wrecking with the amount of people it brings to our city making it super vulnerable.
