A few weekends ago I was running out the door as fast and I could with Drake and only had time to throw on a light coat of eye shadow. Well it changed my life.
Maybe not that drastic but it's what I've been doing daily since and here's how!
I am really loving cream eye shadow right now as well. The powder kind tends to rub off by the end of the day, no matter how hot or cold. Cream eye shadow seems to hold MUCH longer! Thanks for the tutorial. I feel like we have a very similar make up routine!
I've been doing something similar lately to switch up from my usual smoky eye. I haven't tried that Maybelline shadow, might have to look into it. As for powder shadows, I swear by Urban Decay eye primer first - my shadow stays on all day and doesn't crease!
Love the tutorial! Your dog is funny - my dog would be doing the same thing. :) I love Naked Lunch by Mac on the eyelid and then Mulch in the crease. One thing I love about cream eye shadows though is that they rarely require a primer (and sometimes act as a primer themselves).
It's so funny that I found this post - I was JUST in the store the other day looking at these tattoo shades having NO clue how I would use them. (most of the colors intimidated me) but then I remembered that I get a small compact from Revlon that's cream shadow you swipe on with your finger, and thought I use this for a base a lot - why not do the same with this long wear Tattoo shadow, thanks for the tip, and way to wear it, without looking overdone!
you. are. gorgeous. can't wait to try this!
ReplyDeleteI can't remember the last time I put eye shadow on with a brush...I need to really start rethinking my make-up routine!!

ReplyDeletePretty sweet friend. I need to have more fun with my eyes. I've been wearing the same color on my eyes for way too long.
