When we moved into the new house it came with the most darling little playhouse in the backyard that needed some TLC. I was up for the challenge and determined to make it a cute little space for the girls to play in. My goal was to accomplish this back in September, shortly after we moved in but life happens and I was a pregnant whale then with having a newborn then and it was on hold until... last week. Kicking off 2017 great, right?! :)

Anyway! I was planning on doing a charcoal gray/soft black for the siding and white trim. Totally channel my inner Joanna Gaines and make it farmhouse-esque and so quaint but one night when I was up feeding Hollyn at 2:30am, pink popped into my head and I couldn't get it out. If you know me, you know I am not a fan of pink. I mean, I like blush and peachy toned pinks but not the girly, bubblegum pinks. I had my bedroom in middle school and part of high school hot pink and barbie pink with zebra print everywhere so I was burnt out by age 17.

But PINK! Before I could change my mind, I loaded the kids the very next morning in the car and we were at Home Depot at 7am buying Behr- Youth Blush pink paint and the rest is history! A project I thought would take about 2 hours took me 7 but it turned out so darling. I plan to still paint the inside to coordinate but I couldn't handle anymore that day.

What do you think? Was pink the right choice?!
