Add Some Oompf!
It's no secret I have a thing for hair products but only ones that are tried and true that I find myself buying over again. I have really fine hair, but a lot of it so it tends to weigh down with too much product but I've found a few gems I love so let's dig in, shall we?
Another Accident
2016 is just our year, you know? Haha! It's been the highest of highs and lowest of lows and we're just trucking along trusting this is all happening for a reason. Drake was playing football at school Tuesday and broke his leg in two places- but he made the catch! ;) - and ended up having surgery to place "flexible nails" for stability. He's looking at a 10-12 week recovery time so his summer is shot and he's so upset about it.

Emery's new thing is waking up at the butt crack of dawn (5am) and wanting to snuggle in bed with her daddy before he leaves for work. I always want to take her downstairs so he can sleep a bit longer before starting his day but he's obsessed with the cuddles and wakes right up when she nestles in with him. It's literally so cute!

another sweet girl arriving
November 2016!
We are thrilled to share we have another sweet girl baking away and is due to arrive just 4 weeks shy of Drake's birthday and 2 weeks shy of Emery's! Everything is looking great, she's totally healthy and we're so excited it's all coming to fruition again.
Thoughts on Honest Bundling
We started using the Honest Co for their diaper and wipe bundles when Emery was like 3 months old and loved it! The ability to add fun patterns of our choice really made the process fun and enjoyable to look forward to our package but mostly the convenience of setting up the 4-6 weeks delivery time line and then knowing diapers were always set and done.
Custom Keyboard
I was on instagram scrolling the other day and somehow came across the app called Word Flow. Have you heard of it? Basically it gives you the ability to add a keyboard on your iPhone that's customizable so you have a little more character and color to your basic iOS featured keyboard.

I am lucky enough to work with some amazing creatives and like minded women on their blogs and building out their brands which is such a reward! I thought it could be fun to start sharing that a little bit more and giving you an insight to recent projects I've worked on. This time around, simple logos and testimonials from my clients and I'm thinking a mood board of one specific blog next time... we shall see!

Bathroom Cabinet Overhaul

Okay, I mentioned I'm going to be ballsy and paint the bathroom cabinetry in our home starting in the kids bathroom. Well, it's going down currently and it's seriously been cake so far! I wanted to share this in bits so it's easier to digest instead of one giant post when it's done.
Skin Update

It's been about 8 weeks since I started using TULA in my skin care routine and I wanted to give you an update on a seriously honest level. You can read my first post here but basically, I've been having a lot of trouble with my skin again and I was wanting to introduce something new to help combat the blemishes. I'll outline below what I'm doing and how I think it's progressed over time.

Afternoon Stroll
Happy Monday! How was your Mother's Day weekend? We spent it low key on Sunday but I went to Junk in the Trunk on Friday night with my mom and sister in law and we had a really great time! I scored this tee from one of my favorite AZ shops and it just says it all... you know? I also got some new chalk paint from another shop I love, Audrey's and I'm thinking I'm going to tackle painting the bathroom cabinets. Would anyone be interested in that before/after?
Backpack Diaper Bag
I went on a rampage talking about this bag on snapchat so I said I'd share a couple pictures of it here on the blog from when we went out for errands this morning. We have been using a backpack for Emery and I'm just using a regular purse but it's been a hassle grabbing both and maintaining each bag separately.
Church
Yesterday was a really great service at our church and it really aligned with being so involved online and social media. I thought it would be something others can relate with when they also put themselves out there and ultimately compare to everything they see within highlight reels and the constant self doubt.
